I love spending time with my furkid Ariel and we have bought her numerous toys to play with but like most she chews them up and with in a matter of weeks she can no longer play with them, She loves to play tug of war with socks that she finds and other various items that she really should not be chewing , So when I found Tuggo Dog Toys I just knew that it would be the ultimate toy for her.Once it arrived I was not sure she would play with it due to its size , she had me fooled she grabs one of of the rope and tugs and tugs and carries it through out the house looking for some one to tug the other end, We first added water to the inside of the ball and she was not sure about the swishing noise but then we took the water out let it dry and added some sand of which we have plenty of in our back yard. It is a windy day with a slight chance of rain here in Spring Hill, FL , Right now it is about 67 degrees with a High of 70. I’m so glad that Today is Friday I have not been sleeping very well this week and the weekend will give me a chance to catch up on some much needed rest. Had a some what stressful day yesterday , I got a notification that there was an alleged bomb threat at one of my kidlets school, It turned out to be a inert grenade that was hollowed out and most likely a souvenir that a young child brought in for show and tell and while this child had it in their possession apparently made some comments that the school found inappropriate , Though I’m glad the school took action , I wonder what kind of society do we live in that allows such actions. I get it that the kid wanted to bring in something cool for show and tell but what made this child say what they did ? I saw the picture and you can clearly tell that is was not active but per school policy they take things like this very serious which I’m happy about.

The Schrade Tactical Survival Pen. Really? Yes – really. Look, no one’s saying go into the woods with this and a tarp and you’ll end up starting a new civilization. What IS cool about it is that it’s a pen you can use and keep on you every day, and then if a situation came up where you needed the pen, the ferro rod, or the whistle – well there you have it. Very cool little product. Price point is around $45. Well within reason for a high quality writing tool. Hey and a regular pen isnt going to help you start a fire if you need water purified or provide you with a whistle to call for help!
I do appreciate the simplicity of the Ferro rod in particular! They are cheap to replace (I am ordering refills for about $6 each) but the main thing is the rod and striker are big enough to be effective, but still small enough to be made into a pen If you can strike a match, you can use a ferro rod!
