I love the fact that my kids love to be outdoors, there are so many things to explore and see plus they get fresh air which is important to us and that’s why we’re so excited to tell you about the 5th annual National Park Trust’s Kids to Park Day being held on May 16, 2015!

“National Park Trust is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving parks today and creating park stewards for tomorrow. As people spend more time indoors and as successive generations grow up with less of a connection to nature, NPT wants to build a greater awareness and appreciation for the importance of our country’s public lands and parks.”

Last year nearly 450,000 people participated in Kids to Parks Day and this year over 500,000 are expected to. In a day when 1-in-3 children suffer from obesity and even more from “Nature Deficit Disorder”, Kid to Parks Day is a great way to get outside & active without breaking the bank.

I love spending time with my furkid Ariel and we have bought her numerous toys to play with but like most she chews them up and with in a matter of weeks she can no longer play with them, She loves to play tug of war with socks that she finds and other various items that she really should not be chewing , So when I found Tuggo Dog Toys I just knew that it would be the ultimate toy for her.Once it arrived I was not sure she would play with it due to its size , she had me fooled she grabs one of of the rope and tugs and tugs and carries it through out the house looking for some one to tug the other end, We first added water to the inside of the ball and she was not sure about the swishing noise but then we took the water out let it dry and added some sand of which we have plenty of in our back yard. As a devastating effect, one child under the age of 5 dies every minute from diarrhea caused by contaminated water and unsafe hygiene.
