Nautica Life Review

We got an AWESOME gift set from Nautica! Their new Nautica Life cologne with matching shower gel and after shave. This scent is Ivory Coast Ginger, Sea Sale, and Mandarin. This scent is also very woodsy and  extremely masculine but with undertones of lavender, violet, and sage it appeals to woman as well. I made my boyfriend be the tester and he got lots of compliments on it while he was at work.

As the day goes on the scent gets more blended and creates a unique scent that is second to none.  This cologne embodies the essence of what Nautica scents are. This scent gives a zest on how you appeal to the senses of everyone you meet. Thus is why its called Nautica Life.

The shower gel is the same scent as the cologne and leaves you moisturized and smelling great straight out of the shower. The After Shave is also the same scent. It leaves your skin silky smooth after shaving and helps prevent your skin from drying out, similar to lip balm but for your face!

Taste Trunk Review! Holiday Gift Guide 2015

We received this AWESOME Subscription box from Taste Trunk, and the stuff is AMAZING!! Each item came with recipe cards or recipes on the packaging. Our box included Hawaiian Lava Salt from the San Francisco Salt Company, Napa Valley Raspberry Vinegar, White Truffle Oil, Spiceologist, and Urban Accents Parmesan Mediterranean Veggie Roaster.

We used the recipes it came with to create some AMAZING food and made some of
our own! We uses the Parmesan Mediterranean Veggie Roaster to make this delish backed butternut squash! Even my somewhat picky two-year old would eat it. We also made some amazing homemade mashed potatoes with the Hawaiian Lava Salt. The contrast between the white from the potatoes and the black salt looks great on a plate and would be amazing for holiday parties. We also made Cauliflower Soup with the Truffle oil, it was super yummy! The Truffle oil was made from extra virgin olive and white truffles which were found by truffle pigs what are specially trained to look for them. Pretty much everything in this box is amazing!

They have loads of information here on their website under their FAQ page! Everything from delivery day information to Subscriptions and stock photos you can use if you buy these for your friends and family! They also set up business subscriptions for those of you whom like to give these out as holiday gifts to employees. Under their Kitchen notes tab they have recipes they release with the boxes that are exclusive to them. One in particular that looked super yummy is the Homemade Greek Yogurt which looks super easy to make.

You can also do a build your own box! So you get to choose a theme or a set of items individually for your Taste Trunk! You can also pick items to suit your specific diet such as Vegan foods and gluten free. They even have catagories for organic and kitchen supplies!

Botticelli Review! Holiday Gift Guide 2015

At our house we eat ALOT of pasta, like we love pasta.So when we were given the opportunity to review Botticelli again we jumped on it!  They use 100% Italian tomatoes and the highest quality. They produce their pasta sauces from scratch in small batches,using natural ingredients. The sauces and pasta we received have ingredients we can pronounce so nothing funky great for if you need to avoid chemicals or preservatives! The pastas cook extremely well too which means the pasta doesnt get soggy and ruin your great pasta sauces or dishes. In total we received a package of angel hair pasta, a bowtie pasta, their great tomato and basil sauce and olive bruscetta.

For this dish we used their angel hair pasta and the Tomato and Basil sauce we
received. It was absolutely delicious and looks as good as it tasted, so if your finicky about pretty foods and want to impress guests this would definately do so!

For the second dish we made we used their Olive Oils and bow tie pasta to make homemade Roasted butternut bell pepper pasta sauce! The olive oil paired perfectly with the subtle flavors of the herbs and flavors to creat a well balanced meal!

Evenflo!

We got a gift basket from Evenflo and I have to say it an AWESOME goodie bag! We got TWO sippie cups, one glow in the dark  one with cats, and another with a scarecrow print. We also recieved a three pack of of training cups, a 5$ Starbucks gift card, a plushie, a goodie bag, and a Halloween treat bucket! My daughter Bellamie is in LOVE with these sippie cups! She brings them everywhere and insists on using them. These by far are her favorite cups we have gotten for her in a while!

Starlooks Look Book Revival October Review

So this months look book is AWESOME it came with an eyeshadow pallet in Agave, a mascara in Flora, and a lipstick in Rawr. The Aguave eyeshadow pallet is burgendy and an olive green color that are matte, when applied they blend together really easily to create a bold eye thats accented well by the mascara in Flora which is a teal color. The lipstick is also a very bold shade of hot pink, its name RAwr works well with it because its so bold.

To acheive the look I have in the pictures you first need to scrub your face with an exfolliant because other than your eyes and lips you are pretty barefaced.

Then apply a tinted moisturizer that is one shade lighter than your normal skin tone. You want your skins natural flush to show since using blush or high lighter will clash with the eyeshadow and lipstick.

Then apply translucent powder heavily under your eyes to prevent eyeshadow fall out from getting on you’re under eyes. Prime your eyes with this primer to make sure your eyeshadow stays on nice and pigminted with out creasing.

From there apply the green aguave to the lid of your eyes to just into the crease. Then apply the burgendy to the outer crease of your eye only to make your eyes appear larger.

Using black liquid eye liner create a winged cat eye thats thicker at the outer eye.

Apply the mascara that came in the kit to your eyelashes. Then apply thick false lashes and another few coats of mascara to blend it all together.
Dust off the excess translucent powder.

Fill your brows in lightly to keep the bold look going.

Next prime your lips to make sure the lipstick stays on all day. Then line it in a lip liner in a cordinating shade. I used Riberry then fill your lips in with the lipstick RAWR from the kit!

So we received THREE awesome dolls from Aurora Gifts! A raggedy Andy , raggedy Annie, and a Cutie Curls doll that looks like my daughter! I love Raggedy Andy and Annie dolls I actually collected them when I was little. These new raggedy dolls have a darker skin complexion  and hair than the originals which is a nice variation! They still sport the original outfits in blue, red, and white. The faces are embroidered with button eyes that can’t pop off so these are safe for your infants !

 

The Cutie Curls doll features  very long curly hair, with green eyes. Her fashionable green dress is very similar to something you would see in stores for young girls with the pink tulle and polka dots! Her olive skin and green eyes mean she has a coloring which is hard to find. This doll has a embroidered face as well which means nothign can pop off her face either making her safe for toddlers as well.  My two year old daughter LOVES this doll. She carries her around every where and insists on me doing her hair.
